I trust you are having a strong start to your week. The new year is off to a great start at New Hope. Everyone is back into the swing of things after the holidays and Connect Groups are in their second week of operation. In our Sunday Worship Service we have been learning from the book of Romans. If you would like to read ahead this week we will took a closer look at Romans 7:7-25, Is the Law bad?
There’s also a question I’d like to ask…
Do You Have Magazines and Books that You Are No Longer Using?
As one of its service projects, the “Young at Heart” group provides reading materials to several senior living communities in the area. If you have gently used magazines published within the last 18 months or books you would like to donate, please bring them to the Children’s Check In desk at the entrance of the Children’s Church on Sunday, 1/26/19 and place them in the bins provided. The “Young at Heart” group will remove any mailing labels and distribute the items to senior living communities. Thank you for considering this opportunity to provide reading materials for seniors who enjoy reading!
One more question…
Would you like to serve the church as an Usher or Greeter?
Stephen Gosse is the deacon over the Ushers and Greeters team. He is always on the lookout for more folks to participate in these areas. To sign up, Please contact the church at: admin@newhopechurchtn.org
That’s all for now. See you soon,
Pastor Josh
