Palm Sunday – Hat Sunday
We are looking forward to celebrating Palm Sunday with you! Join us on New Hope Online to participate in the worship service at 10:00 AM. New Hope Online’s pre-service begins streaming at 9:45 AM and can be found on New Hope’s Website, App, Facebook Live, and YouTube.
For those of you who join us, we’d like for this Sunday to be a little more interactive. Let me tell you how. In recent years some people in the church began wearing Sunday hats for Palm Sunday, and it kind of became a fun tradition. Even though we won’t gather in the building we’d still like for this tradition to continue. The worship team and pastors will be wearing their hats this weekend, and we’d like you to join us. Here’s an idea: Treat this Sunday like it’s a normal Sunday morning. Get dressed like you’re heading off to church, put your hat on, and then take a picture at your front door.
Since it’s Palm Sunday you could also find some type of branch (anything that closely resembles a palm branch) and place it on your door in celebration of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Then during the worship service we’d like everyone to post their Palm Sunday “hat” picture in the comments section of the Livestream. It would be great to see everyone on Palm Sunday and this is one way to do it!
Last Week’s Financial Bulletin
In the Town Hall minutes last week I stated that New Hope had experienced a dramatic decrease in giving for March. I want to thank you for responding to this and cheerfully giving to the Lord and supporting your church in last weeks tithes and offering. Giving Options
Many of you have made the transition to our new giving options. For those who haven’t, here are the ways you can give to New Hope. Remember, your giving not only goes to support New Hope’s ministries, but also the many local and international missions the church supports at this time.
- Online Giving: You can set up an account to give online through the church website or app. You can find instructions on how to do that by clicking here.
- Online Bank Bill Pay: You can go to your online banking account and just as you pay your utilities and other bills, set up New Hope Community Church to receive a one-time payment or automatic ongoing payments. With this approach the bank will mail the church your tithe.
- Mailing Address: You can mail checks directly to New Hope Community Church. Your check should be made payable to New Hope CC. Below is the only mailing address where New Hope receives mail:
