Fellowship Lunch to follow with all churches in New Hope’s back field.
On Saturday, March 27th New Hope will join Nolensville Community Church, Gateway Community Church, and Community Bible Church to become the hands and feet of Christ in our community. The purpose is to help families in need by cleaning up and adding some life to their homes and yards. The goal is to find 20 homes in the community (elderly, shut-ins, widows, families in need) with each church aiming to identify 3 to 5 homes we can assist.
If you know of a person or family that is in need of assistance please LET US KNOW BY CLICKING HERE. We will reach out to them and schedule a group to come to their home on March 27th to complete the work. Here are some examples of the projects we are looking for:
- clean out and mulch flower beds
- rake and bag leaves
- clean windows and gutters
- trim bushes and hedges
- mow and edge lawn
- minor exterior repairs and painting
- pressure wash driveways/sidewalks/porches
- remove fallen limbs and branches
- help clean and organize garage
All work will be exterior and each group will be made up of 5 to 10 people. We will let you know which tools are needed as the projects are submitted. This is a great opportunity for us to work alongside members of other churches. If you would like to participate in this community mission project on Saturday, March 27th please SIGN UP HERE.
New Hope Playground Renovation at the Same Time
At the same time New Hope Community Church will be removing existing playground equipment in our back field to prepare the way for the new playground that will be installed in early April! New Hope Students will be spending the whole day assisting in this project, but we would like additional New Hope members to make plans to stick around after lunch on March 27th to join the students in completing the work.
Announcement for this Weekend (Feb. 26-28)
This weekend Create Hope Studios will be hosting a large theater production through our partner Christian Youth Theater (C.Y.T.). The production is a ticketed event that is open to the public. The leadership of New Hope would like you to know that our facility is completely cleaned and disinfected once a week as part of our Covid 19 protocol. However, those attending our Sunday morning worship services on Feb. 28 should be aware that C.Y.T’s large production will be taking place at New Hope after the disinfectant cleaning has taken place. In the interest of health and safety the leadership of New Hope wanted to make all of its members aware of this activity.
Blessings,
Pastor Josh
